I think it's a great title name. Straight To The Heart sounds like the right album name for a sophie ellis bextor album. Read My Lips, Shoot from the Hip and now Straight to the heart. it matches.

I`m really thinking, that is more revolution whit the name of the album, i dont think but the POLYDORS RECORDS, not is complicated in searches the name of album or choose the more best for the singer.
but, four names, for this album is tragic....... becausse Sophie is the more very singer, i am liked that called SOPHISTICATED, but, this is moreeee, tragic,... please Sophie, you choose, already,,, that more exactly album`s name...

Let me ask this - I know there most-likely isn't a song named "Straight To The Heart" (because Sophie has repeatedly said she doesn't like to name an album after just one song) - but, is there a lyric within one song that has this phrase?

I love it. I would have been happier if it was Make A Scene, but maybe this suits the album better. I go with Sophie's decision.

@ Dave, there's a song called Cut Through The Heart that she recorded with Dimitri and Harcourt. It could be from the same song... Or maybe it's just something that she thought of.

I dont think straight to the heart is better than make a scene!!!
There's a backstreet boys song called, straight through my heart!!!!! please avoid this similarity, i dont like them.
I have many suggestions for the title ,"Electric Rush", "Sparkling Nights (or Lights)", Call my name", .... am sure many others could come up with more suggestions lol

I thought "Make a Scene" was ok, but I think "Straight To the Heart" is better. It feels stronger and more direct. It also fits better with the other album titles and Sophie herself. Sure, she's a glamorous goddess, but to me she means more than just all the glitter and glamor. Eventually, the songs make the album and not the title.

Crazy about Sophie....not too crazy about the name change. Perhaps she could call it "Point ofthe matter", "Bittewrsweet" or maybe even "Finally...". I mean we have waited forever for this release. "Worth the wait" would be good too. Straight to the heart is too hokey, corny and I do not think of SEB like that at all. Make a scene was better, but still weak. Whatver it is called, release it soon and get it on I-TUNES US AS WELL. We need more SEB in the US!

Well, technically speaking, to maintain consistency (a la Pet Shop Boys one word album titles throughout their career), Sophie's new album should be a phrase beginning with a "u" verb, such as "Untie the Knot" or "Undress For the Camera."

do you honestly think you were the first to think of this and suggest it? its actually quite tiresome to read over and over. Sophie has already commented on it ('i had no idea, and no it wasn't intentional'). why do 'accidents' have to be perpetuated? its really silly.
